Awards
Artists selected will be awarded up to £500 upon the realization
of proposed initiatives. (Awards are based upon cost of materials,
H&S checks and installation).
Eligibility
This competition is open to glassmakers running businesses in
the West Midlands and encourages the following sectors within
the HVAP cluster using glass within their work to participate: Ceramics,
Designer Makers, Furniture, Metals and Textiles.
Prize Awards of £1000 each will be made in the categories of
Creative Spatial Responses and Makers Collaboration.
ERWIN EISCH
The exhibition will feature the work of Erwin Eisch, a pioneer
of the 1960s studio glass movement.

We look forward to announcing Erwin Eisch's attendance of the opening of the
exhibition at the Red House Glass Cone on Friday 25th August 2006, along with
stained glass artist, Mark Angus and Dr. Katharina Eisch-Angus, Director of
Bild-Werk Frauenau, the school of glass in Germany.
