Walter Lieberman is widely known for his use of sophisticated techniques of painting on glass and has mastered the esoteric art of layering enamels to produce works of amazing artistry and skill. As well as being a highly respected artist whose works are sought after in public and private collections, Walter is also an extremely experienced and committed teacher and mentor.

This masterclass will give participants an overview of the variety of ways to integrate imagery (figurative or abstract) into their own aesthetic, opening the door to more complexity and richness in their work. Teaching will combine traditional glass painting techniques with state of the art methods of firing 2D digital images onto glass and embedding painted images within glass. Participants will be able to work with their own digital images (if supplied in advance) and the techniques learned will give participants the knowledge required to integrate imagery into blown, cast or fused glass, as well as stained glass.
