The Dial Glass Works

Venue: Dial Glass Works

The Dial Glass Works is a hugely atmospheric working glass factory built in 1788 and Plowden & Thompson has seen a lot of customers pass through their doors since they were established in 1922.  The Gallery is a showcase of work produced by customers who purchase the glass made on site and is well worth a visit.  P&T will also be open for glass sales including Reichenbach, Duran and Glass Alchemy during the Festival.  Managing Director Barbara Beadman will be conducting tours of the Dial Glass Works (please see Heritage Walks) and talking about its past, present and future.
