2008's packed festival programme included...

While we are developing the programme for the forthcoming 2010 Festival we felt it important to provide a flavour of previous festivals. Therefore this information relates to the 2008 Festival and remains here to give visitors to the site a fair idea of the typical content of future festivals

There will be activities for everyone to enjoy, great entertainment and excellent food and refreshments. There will also be opportunities to party the night away with traditional food, musical entertainment, dramatic glassmaking demonstrations and performance events!
The International Festival of Glass celebrates both the unique glassmaking heritage of the area and the sparkling emergence of this whole new era of glassmaking. You are invited to share in this exciting weekend of stunning and surprising events. Come and see for yourself.
