Families and children are very welcome and there is plenty for children to do at the Public Festival. Previous programmes have included treasure hunts, designing your own cut glass, craft workshops, storytelling sessions, street entertainment and lots of fascinating glassmaking demonstrations to watch. In addition Festival venues Broadfield House Glass Museum and the Red House Cone typically host Family Fun Days during the Public Festival.
