The International Festival of Glass is a fabulous family event. Not only is glass an incredible art form but the glass making process itself is a visual delight. Families will be able to watch demonstrations, take part in activities and explore everything the Festival has to offer.

There are lots of events and activities to intrigue and inspire all ages and family members during the Public Festival.  There are Family Fun Days with a medieval theme at the Cone on Saturday 30 & 31 May and fun and frolics at Broadfield House Glass Museum on Friday 29 with donkey rides, falconry displays and story-telling.  There will be children’s craft activities throughout the Festival at the Ruskin Glass Centre; don’t miss the cheeky stilt princesses, Banraku puppet workshops, the Emergency Poet in her ambulance and the archaeological sandpit dig, also at the Ruskin Glass Centre.
