The 2010 Masterclass Programme
|
We are delighted that brilliant and talented glass artists from around the world are once again joining us to lead masterclasses and workshops prior to the fourth International Festival of Glass in August. We do hope you will join us for what promises to be an exciting and stimulating week of activities.
This year we are pleased to be working in
partnership with the School of Art & Design, University of Wolverhampton and the Welsh School of Architectural Glass at Swansea Metropolitan University to provide masterclasses that cover an amazing range of different techniques. Masterclasses will be based in four different sites; University of Wolverhampton, Leasowes Community School in Halesowen, Broadfield House Glass Museum, Kingswinford and the Ruskin Glass Centre in Stourbridge, with participants coming together to share their experiences at a range of events in the evenings.
Masterclasses commence on Monday 23 Aug and finish on Thursday 26 August. All participants are invited to the British Glass Biennale Awards Ceremony on the Thursday evening. Other evening events will include private receptions at the Broadfield House Glass Museum and University of Wolverhampton. For details of each class please click on the link(s) in the list on the left.
To book your place, please fill out the application form (click BOOKING FORM on left or at bottom of page to download) and send it to us with your payment details. CVs will be required for intermediate to advanced classes.
Please take a look at the information about each class and if you require more details please email us at: masterclasses@ifg.org.uk with any specific queries which we will respond to as promptly as possible.
