GLASS EMPORIUM
The 'Glass Emporium 2008' offers the opportunity to see and buy work by artists not involved in the exhibitions and to talk to suppliers, to glass makers and collectors. In 2008 this has been expanded to provide trading facilities for a wider range of specialists.
2008 GLASS CRAFT MARKET
In 2008 there was also an alternative to the on-site GLASS EMPORIUM in the form of a one day Craft Market in Stourbridge Town Centre on the Saturday of the festival in which there was a dedicated glass crafts section.
STOURBRIDGE GLASS FAIR 2008
As part of the International Festival of Glass 2008, Oxbridge Fairs (organisers of the Cambridge Glass Fair) launched a new event, The Stourbridge Glass Fair, was held at the Crystal Leisure Centre, Bell Street, Stourbridge on Sunday 24th August.
This was an exciting addition to the 2008 calendar with plenty of exhibition space available and a good mix of glass both antique and contemporary.
