The International Festival of Glass is easily accessible by motorway when travelling from all parts of the UK. Postcodes are listed alongside all sites on the Venues page. Many Festival venues are located along the A491.

By Train

By train the closest station is Stourbridge Town, directly linked by shuttle train from Stourbridge Junction (the shortest branch line in Europe!)

Once at Stourbridge Town, taxi ranks are located directly outside the station; and the bus station and town centre are within easy walking distance. The free Festival shuttle bus will also pick up from the town centre. See the Getting Around page for detailed information.

National Rail Enquiries

Affordable fares are available via Midland Mainline from London’s Marylebone train station. Stourbridge Junction is a PlusBus Area, which means that you can buy a discounted bus pass with your train ticket, allowing unlimited bus travel around the town on participating buses. Please check the PlusBus website for detailed information. 

By Coach

By coach the closest destinations are Birmingham and Wolverhampton. From these destinations many of the Festival sites can be found off the A491 which is accessible by local buses and trains.

National Express Coaches

By Bus

The Number 9 bus from Birmingham also travels directly from outside Birmingham Snow Hill station on Colmore Row to Stourbridge bus station (via Halesowen). The Number 256 bus from Wolverhampton travels directly from Stand L at Wolverhampton bus station to Stourbridge bus station. 

The free Festival shuttle bus services will operate from Stourbridge town centre.
